Broken Ice

You passed Frostbite Peak, and arrived in an abandoned village. Broken houses, hammers, logs, and all sorts of equipment,boulders, and stuff are flying over the village due to a strong gust of wind. Seeing the exit is at the other end of the village, you have no choice but pass through the deadly obstacles in between. That's when you find lava on the snow. The lava wasn't melting down the snow, and it shouldn't be possible for this snowy place to have lava here. You have been on the peak of this mountain, and it is clearly not a volcano.
